Current Opening for a Full-Time Physical Therapist:
Invictus Healthcare System is seeking a full-time physical therapist to evaluate patients, determine physical therapy treatment plans, and administer those plans in cooperation with the internal referring physicians or those referring from other medical practices. With a heavy focus on the spine, the PT will utilize the David Health System as well as other therapy equipment, manual therapies, and other therapeutic activities to assist patients in achieving their goals.
The selected candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate with patients, family, or caregivers. He or she must document patient care services in the electronic health record system and must comply with all regulations including HIPAA and other requirements. He or she must have graduated from an accredited school of physical therapy and hold a valid license to practice physical therapy in the State of Oklahoma.
Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA), a safety sensitive position is defined as any job that includes tasks that could affect the safety and health of employees and others. The position of Physical Therapist has been identified as a safety sensitive position, which means that Invictus will lawfully refuse to hire applicants for the job or to discharge the employee if they test positive for marijuana, even if they have a valid license to use medical marijuana.
